Our hand-woven Rhombus rugs, produced using a blend of mohair and natural wool, are woven by combining hand-spun mohair from Angora goats with selected natural wool. The fibers are left undyed; the natural contrast of black and white is preserved, offering a timeless look.

Our rugs are produced using an ancient technique employed by Central Asian nomadic communities for centuries, giving them a textured feel reminiscent of animal fur. Mohair and wool are washed and spun, then woven flat on a loom. After weaving is complete, the surface is brushed with special brushes and washed to enhance the texture and quality.

Thanks to their lightness, durability, and easy foldability, flat-woven rugs have been among the most valued items in nomadic life throughout history. These types of mohair and wool blends have traditionally been used as blanket-like bedspreads.

Today, these versatile rugs can be used as wall hangings, cushions, lap blankets, throws, bedspreads, small area rugs, or large area rugs.

We recommend using a padded, non-slip carpet underlay to prevent slipping and provide extra comfort.

Maintenance & Recommendations

• Shake off dust and gently vacuum; do not use a rotary brush vacuum cleaner.
• We recommend hand washing in lukewarm water (max. 30°C) and a delicate detergent suitable for wool.
• After gently squeezing out excess water, carefully shape the rug and hang to dry away from direct heat.
• Professional dry cleaning is recommended to preserve the combed pattern on the textured surface.
